You may only apply for one date and will be allocated 2 tickets for that date.
In your application please provide all contact information including email and a daytime contact number.

| Success at Potters | ||
![]() | As some of you will be aware this summer saw Strictly Ballroom at Potters Leisure hosted by Anton Du Beke & Erin Boag.
I hear from those that attended a good time was had by all and a few were even brave enough to enter the dance competitions.
For anyone who has not entered a dance competition before I am sure it will not surprise you to know that it takes a great deal of nerve to join the floor let alone make it through to the final.
So I am therefore delighted to announce that one of our couples did just that! Nigel and Elaine who attend our Tuesday Evening Advanced Class improved on last years second round by making it through to the final for the Jive. See Gallery for picture.
Well done to Nigel and Elaine and indeed all of you that braved the competitions!
Well Done | |

| "Great fun, Great for your health, Great for meeting people"
Burns calories - regular dancing will help avoid putting on those extra pounds and also to loose weight.
A complete workout – dancing offers cardiovascular benefits to people of all ages and abilities from gentle exercise to a challenging workout that is the equivalent of any aerobic class. In a typical dance session, you will not only build your heart's strength but also boost your endurance and energy levels.
Tones and strengthens - once you have mastered the basic technique, Ballroom and Latin dancing combines a series of movements that tones and strengthens muscles throughout the whole body.
Improves posture, balance and co-ordination - Ballroom dancing naturally encourages one to adopt the right posture and the combination of movement and dance steps builds better balance and co-ordination.
Boosts confidence & self-esteem - as you master the steps, gain a real sense of achievement and learn to enjoy dancing in a social and fun environment, your confidence will be boosted.
Reduces stress - the combination of physical exercise and mental stimulation is a great way to invigorate yourself and alleviate the stresses of the day.
Mentally stimulating - the combination of exercise and the challenge to remember new groups of steps is good for the mind and stimulates the memory
Make new friends - meet new people and have fun with like-minded people on a regular basis. | ||
