Welcome to Footsteps Ballroom
Welcome to Footsteps Ballroom website. We are a fun social dance school which has been established in South Woodham Ferrers since February 2006.
We offer a mixture of both Latin American and Ballroom dance, aiming to open the opportunity for everyone to dance regardless of their age or background, ability and whether or not they have danced before. Our classes are an enjoyable group experience embracing both couples and single dancers creating a real sense of community and excitement, with dancers always looking forward to their next lesson.
As well as our instruction classes we also offer the opportunity for dancers of all levels to come along to our Social Dance Evenings held throughout the year.
Strictly Ballroom New Beginners Course
This is a 12 week course designed for complete beginners and introduces you to the basic steps in the popular Ballroom & Latin dances
With our current class now approaching week 4 of 12, complete beginners should perhaps watch out for our next course to start. Coming Soon!

Level 1 - Tuesday 8.30pm - 10pm
Level 2 - Tuesday 7.15pm - 8.30pm & Sunday 6.00pm - 7.30pm

This class is the opportunity to build on the figures learnt on the Beginners Course
Improvers Class
Thursday 8.30pm - 10.00pm

The evening includes instruction sessions helping to build both your knowledge and confidence on the dance floor
Advanced Class
Sunday 7.30pm - 9.00pm

This class are designed to increase your knowledge in the dances already learnt covering not only new steps but also technique.
Practice Evening
Monday 8.15pm - 10pm

This is an opportuntiy to meet with friends and practice the steps you have learnt.
One2One Lessons
One2One lessons are bookable in advance as either 30 minute or 60 minute sessions.
So if you have missed a class and need to catch up, want a little extra help with this weeks instruction or simply prefer to learn this way, we are happy to help
